Woman arrested and drugs seized after Worcester warrant

Officers carried out the warrant at a property on Carnforth Drive in Warndon following intelligence around the supply of drugs at the house.

A search found cannabis as well as mobile phones and cash, estimated over £5,000.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.

The police are continuing their investigation.

Police Constable Ben Sly from Warndon Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) said: “I am really pleased with the result of today’s drug warrant. We will never tolerate drug supply in our community, and we will continue to act on information around drug supply and trafficking.

“The Warndon community can help us by continuing to report any signs of criminal activity to us – the easiest way to do this is on our website.

“Any bit of information, no matter how small it may seem, could help make a big difference.”
