Police are appealing for information after an assistance dog was attacked by two other dogs at a city golf club. A teenager was walking through Carholme Golf Club in Lincoln when a brown Tibetan Mastiff and black Labrador ran over and attacked his assistance dog.
The dog was bitten on the back and had to be given pain relief which meant it was unable to carry out its duties. Officers are now trying to locate the owner of the Mastiff and Labrador, and have offered a description to help track him down.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “He is described as a white man, between 5ft 7 and 5ft 10, with a slim build and is thought to be in his 30s. He had very short dark brown hair and a dark brown beard.
“At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hoodie and black jogging bottoms. His clothes were baggy on him. The dog owner was holding two dogs leads, one that was blue and one that was red.
