Men found with drugs and knife by patrolling police officers

CLASS A drugs and a lock knife have been uncovered by police on patrol in Boscombe.

Boscombe Neighbourhood Policing Team spent Saturday afternoon patrolling ‘crime hot spots’ in the area.

While in Hamilton Road they observed the occupants of a vehicle take part in a suspected drug deal.

The vehicle was stopped on Palmerston Road and the two male occupants were detained for a drug search.

Class A drugs were recovered and one of the males was found in possession of a lock knife.

An investigation into drug supply and possession of an offensive weapon is now underway by police.

In a social media post, Bournemouth Police said: “Please continue to report incidents to us.

“Drugs and drug related crime and ASB has a negative impact on our communities.

“We will be relentless in the pursuit of this criminality.”
